MOSEYFAM ♦ FAQ

A day out, on shuffle

Quick answers about how MoseyFam works, what a pack gets you, and what we do with your data. Can't find what you're after? Drop us a line.

What is MoseyFam?

A day out, on shuffle. Type a ZIP, pick a day, tap Plan my MoseyFam. You get a 3–5 stop family itinerary in about 8 seconds — a mix of food, a thing to do, and (if there's something good happening) something live.

How does the rolling work?

We fan out across third-party sources in parallel — Google Places, Ticketmaster, and curated calendars — dedupe what overlaps, filter for what fits your crew and the day, and hand the shortlist to Claude (Haiku 4.5) to write a believable plan. Hit shuffle to roll a different one. Up to 5 shuffles a day.

Are these places real? What if a stop is closed?

The places are real. Hours, prices, and live-event details can be stale or wrong — verify with the venue before you go. We keep getting better at filtering closed spots, but don't drive 40 minutes on our word alone.

What's free, and what's paid?

Every account gets 7 free days. After that, pick a day-pack or subscribe. Paid users get the same rolling — you just keep going past day 7.

How do day-packs work?

Three sizes: Starter (15 days · $4), Standard (30 days · $7), Value (60 days · $12). Pack days only count on days you actually roll a plan — buy 60 days now, roll once a month, your pack lasts 60 months in real time.

Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Unused credits are refundable within 14 days through /contact.

Pack or Family — which should I get?

A pack is for bursty users — a vacation week, a slow Saturday, occasional planning. A Family subscription ($9.99/month) is for households who roll often: unlimited rolls, no day-counting, cancel anytime.

Why are iOS prices higher than web prices?

Apple takes a cut of in-app purchases (currently 30%, 15% if we qualify for the Small Business Program). iOS prices absorb that so net proceeds are roughly even either way. Want to save a few bucks? Buy on the web.

Can I cancel? Refunds?

  • Family sub: cancel anytime in your App Store subscriptions (iOS) or your account page (web). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Day-packs: unused credits are refundable within 14 days — write us via /contact.
  • iOS purchases are also governed by Apple's refund policy. The fastest path is reportaproblem.apple.com.

What data do you collect?

Your email (so we can sign you in and save plans), the locations and filters you enter, and any plans you choose to save. We don't sell your data. We use Supabase for auth + storage and call third-party APIs (Google Places, Ticketmaster, Anthropic) to build itineraries. Location queries are cached but not tied to your account. Full details on /privacy.

Do you work outside the US?

You can roll a plan from anywhere — but our event sources lean US-heavy (Ticketmaster, Bandsintown, Google Events), so coverage and quality drop sharply outside North America. We're a small team. International is on the list, not on the calendar.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Delete account. Your account, saved plans, and preferences are erased immediately. Account deletion is final — we can't restore it.

How do I get help?

/contact. We're a small team, so reply times vary, but we read everything.
